Arte Wolfe

This is one of Art Wolfe photographs and by the way I see it he likes to capture pictures where it looks beautiful or when something is happening/moving. This is one of the pictures that caught my eye and the reason why is because I stared to question myself and asked "what was the horse doing?" "how did Wolfe capture a moment like this". The horse also looks very white and beautiful. I don't know I guess it looks kinda graceful. Most of his pictures are like mountains, rivers, and animals. It's all nature and that's what makes it amazing.

Nature Shot

natures shots where real good. They where fun because I got to go out with my partner and we took pictures of flowers and trees. I think nature is a beautiful thing, our earth is beautiful and when seasons change flowers change and trees and the weather. So nature shots where fun..

William Henry Jackson

This is one of my William Henry Jackson photos. I was looking at his photography and I could tell that he takes pictures of nature. Some examples of his photography are like waterfalls, mountains, trails, and tall trees, etc... All of his pictures have the effect of black and white and some of them are sepia. They also look very old fashion which that grabs my attention. The picture above was taken at camp near the head of pecan creek. It looks beautiful and also very relaxing and peaceful.

Cat and mouse

In these pictures where kinda weird because we had to take like 3 random steps then take a pictures on where we landed and me and my friend took weird pictures on this assignment... so it was pretty fun.

This picture by guien dubourthoumieu caught my attention because this guy he seems so hurt. The way he just sits there and thinks of how much pain he is in. I couldn't imagine the kind of pain this dude is going through. I have notice that this photographer takes pictures of African American people and he just takes the picture of them while they are doing something. I see that he doesn't want them in any kind of pose.

Matt eich

This picture is by Matt Eich and these are blackbirds at dawn. This photo was taken in Greenwood, Mississippi, On January 31, 2014. I like how this picture looks because the sky looks different it has a pretty and scary color. I like how the birds are just flying all at once and just enjoying their freedom. It makes it look kinda scary by the way the trees are surrounding the birds and the sky how it looks purple. I've always had the colors purple and black in mind as Halloween colors so this picture looks like Halloween to me...

Laszlo Moholy-nagy

this photographer images are so weird so abstract. They also look very colorful and it looks really nice very artistic. This looks like a cross, and this cross reminds me of some type of religion and thats all i could think of.

Hans Neleman

the notions and ideas we have about happiness can entrap us. We forget that they are just notions and ideas. Our idea of happiness may be the very thing that's preventing us from being happy. When we're caught in a belief that happiness should take a particular form, we fail to see the opportunities for joy that are right in front of us.

William Wegman

its incredible to see this man take pictures of dogs. I believe this is kind of a hard job because I would imagine most of these dogs are always moving so much and running all over the place, especially when they are pups. Its so funny looking at these pictures because looking at the dogs get all dressed up and with hats etc... you don't see that on regular basis unless you are like obsessed with your dog or whatever type of animal you have. Personally I think these are pretty cool and cute pictures because I love dogs.. unfortunately I cant have one or else id probably will take pictures of him/her.

Anne Geddes

I could see why she could dress a baby like a sunflower cause they are beautiful and fragile. A sunflower always faces the sun and it makes it look brighter so babies always seem bright and happy.

Experience

My experience with photography has been amazing. What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that's gone forever, impossible to reproduce. I feel like when words become difficult or unclear, I could focus with photographs. I feel like a great photograph is one that fully expresses that one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photograph.

Reflections

The reflections project was great. I enjoyed going out of class and trying to take pictures where I could catch a good reflection. I used one of my friends so she could help me get a good reflection picture. Once I got the "perfect" picture I got on Photoshop so I could edit it. I also learned using new tools on Photoshop so they could make the picture look good.

Edward Weston

I like this image because to me ballet makes me feel free. The passion I have for dance I wouldn't be able to put it into words, but if I could I would say that dance is not about winning, dance exist to heighten emotion. Reason why we have competitions, performances, is to make the dancer better. This picture shows that she puts pride into what she does. Dance is an art, and like any other art,the dancer must truly appreciate it before they can begin to understand the complexity of it.
